WINS ANOTHER PIPP AWARD AT PACE 2012

(ST. LOUIS – March 2012) Hester Painting & Decorating of Skokie, Ill. was recognized with a 2012 Picture it Painted Professionally (PIPP) award from the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). The award was presented during the 2012 Painting & Decorating Expo, February 19-22 in Las Vegas. The annual awards program is hosted by PDCA and recognizes the best performances in the coatings application industry by individuals and contracting company members of PDCA.

The PIPP Awards are presented for overall project excellence and superior craftsmanship. Awards were distributed in the following categories: Commercial Interior, Commercial Wallcoverings, Decorative Finishes Residential, Decorative Finishes Commercial, Industrial, Residential Interior, Restoration Commercial Interior, Restoration Commercial Exterior, Restoration Residential Exterior, and Charity Projects.

Hester Painting & Decorating won an award for the Commercial Interior category. Details on their warehouse project near O’Hare Airport are listed below.

The new owners of the warehouse in Des Plaines, Illinois made the right choice when selecting Hester Decorating Company to take on this Commercial Interior project for its 100,000 square foot warehouse.  This challenging project had a very limited time frame with a large scope of work, including coating the 100,000 square foot corrugated metal ceiling, 32,000 square foot pre-cast tilt up walls and columns. Hester Painting & Decorating kept safety a top priority, due to the size of equipment and scissor platform lifts needed to complete this massive project. Congratulations to Steve and the rest of his team at Hester Painting & Decorating on a job well done.  Their efforts have been rewarded with the 2012 award for the Commercial Interior category.
